Welcome to Ratedly ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our social media rating application, which allows users to rate posts and profiles on a scale of 1 to 10. By accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Definitions

  • App — the Ratedly social media rating application.
  • User — any individual who accesses or uses the app.
  • Content — any text, images, ratings, reviews, or other materials you post via the app.
  • Account — your registered profile used to access the app.

2. License to Use

Ratedly grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the app solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the app or its contents.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
  • Engage in abusive, harassing, or fraudulent behavior.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the functionality or security of the app.
  • Use automated systems (bots) to manipulate the rating system.
  • Engage in any unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent activity.

4. Rating & Commenting Guidelines

To keep Ratedly positive and respectful, all users must follow these guidelines:
  • Rate images, not people. Base your ratings on the image's style, creativity, composition, or visual appeal.
  • Be constructive and kind. Leave comments that are helpful or respectful. If you critique, explain what could be improved.
  • What is not allowed: Mean, insulting, harassing, or personal attacks. Do not use the app to shame or demean individuals.
Violations may result in removal of content, warnings, suspension, or account termination.

5. Account Termination

Ratedly reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or negatively impact other users or the app.

6. How to Cancel Your Account

You may cancel your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at ratedly9@gmail.com. Upon termination, your access will immediately cease.

7. Ownership of Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create and submit. By submitting content, you grant Ratedly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content solely for operating and promoting the app.

8. User Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you upload or contribute. You warrant that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. Ratedly reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

9. Updates to Terms

Ratedly may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranty

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties. Ratedly does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the app is at your sole risk.

11. Disclaimer of Liability

Ratedly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app. Ratedly's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the app.

12. User Safety

Ratedly is committed to a safe environment for all users:
  • We use moderation tools to filter objectionable content including hate speech and harassment.
  • Users can report content or other users using the "Report" feature on posts and profiles.
  • Users can block others to avoid unwanted interactions.
  • We may remove content or suspend accounts that engage in abusive or illegal behavior.

13. User Eligibility

By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Ratedly reserves the right to request proof of age and suspend accounts that do not comply.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Delaware.

15. Privacy Policy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
